FISHGUARD FOLK FESTIVAL
Hello everyone. We hope you are all keeping well and staying safe in these difficult times.
Today is a poignant day, at the end of the week when we would have all been busy doing the last minute preparations for the festival. Banners and posters would have been put up, programmes distributed, venues prepared and the town already filling with musicians. By lunchtime, a group would be gathering at the Oak, instruments in hand, and visitors arriving from near and far for our special weekend of music and companionship.
We will miss you all, friends old and new. We will miss the tunes and songs, the dancing and the storytelling - the whole mix which the folk festival brings to Fishguard every year. But we have lots of happy memories to cherish and lots of future times to look forward to, so we. the committee, wish you all well this weekend as we think about how we might have been spending our time. Keep safe and all best wishes
